Why 9 colour printing matters
Four colour process has to build saturated oranges, greens and reds by mixing two or more inks, which mutes them. Running dedicated red, green, blue and orange channels alongside CMYK gives those colours their own ink, so brand colours print at full strength rather than being approximated.
White prints as an underbase, so colour holds its strength on dark and coloured garments instead of sinking into the fabric.
