DTF Ultra Bright White Ink — 1 Ltr

White ink for direct-to-film printing, supplied in a 1 litre bottle. In DTF, white is the underbase — it prints beneath the CMYK layer so colour reads correctly on dark and coloured garments instead of sinking into the fabric.

Why the underbase matters

Printed on a black or navy shirt, CMYK alone has nothing to sit against and the result looks dull and translucent. A white underbase gives the colour layer an opaque base to print onto, so reds stay red and skin tones stay accurate. It is also why white is the ink you consume fastest in DTF, and why it is stocked by the litre.

Anti-sediment formulation

White pigment is heavier than the pigment used in CMYK, so white ink separates and settles more readily in the bottle and in the line. This ink uses an anti-sediment formulation, which slows that separation and keeps the pigment better dispersed between uses.

It reduces settling rather than eliminating it. Shake well before use, and keep white circulating in the printer between jobs.
