OEM Epson i3200-A1 printhead for water-based (aqueous) inks. Supports 4 colours, with 3200 nozzles across 8 rows and a 1.33 inch effective print width. PrecisionCore MicroTFP construction.

Standard or HD — check before ordering

The i3200-A1 and the i3200-A1 HD are structurally the same head, both with 8 rows of 400 nozzles. They are not interchangeable. Each printer can only run the head type it was designed for.

• i3200-A1 (this head) supports 4 colours. The manifold has 4 inputs (nipples) for damper connections, and each colour is emitted by a pair of nozzle rows, giving 600 npi per colour.
• i3200-A1 HD supports 8 colours. The manifold has 8 inputs, and each colour is emitted by a single nozzle row, giving 300 npi per colour.

This head gives higher resolution per colour. The HD gives more colours. Ordering the wrong type means a head that will not run on your machine.

Installation

We recommend replacing the head cables when installing a new printhead.

Warranty

This printhead carries a manufacturer warranty. The following are expressly excluded from coverage:

• Defects related, in any way, to the use of non-original inks
• Clogged, missing or deviated nozzles
• Defects related to misuse, abuse, accident, neglect, lack of use, or improper storage when not in use for extended periods
• Defects related to failure to perform periodic maintenance as specified in the user documentation, or operation for unintended purposes
• Defects related to improper loading of media
• Defects related to third-party applications, software, parts, components or peripheral devices, including any bulk ink system
• Defects that are merely cosmetic in nature
• All other defects, failures or damage not considered manufacturing defects
