A compact workstation with enough processor and memory headroom to run RIP software, colour management and file prep without becoming the bottleneck in your print room.

Why it suits a print shop

RIP software is memory hungry and punishes a weak processor. Ripping large gang sheets, handling ICC profiles and processing halftones all load the CPU while you are still working on the next file. The A9 Max carries a 54W processor and up to 32 GB of RAM, so a heavy rip does not stall the machine you are also using to take orders.

It also ships with a VESA mount, so it can hang behind a monitor rather than occupying bench space.

Cooling and build

IceBlast 3.0 cooling uses a copper module with dual heat pipes to hold the 54W ceiling without thermal throttling. The chassis is a full-tooled metal monoblock casing on anti-slip silicone feet. Both matter in a print room, where ambient temperatures run higher than in an office.
