Hosonsoft Mainboard

This Hoson motherboard is the central controller for DTF printers built around the Epson i3200-A1 printhead. It receives the job from your RIP software, processes it into head firing data, drives the carriage and film feed motors, and manages the ink system, sensors and control panel.

Symptoms of a failing mainboard

• Printer will not power up, or powers up but never initialises
• No USB or network connection — the printer is not detected by the RIP
• Carriage does not home, or crashes into the end stops
• Film feed motors unresponsive while the printer otherwise appears normal
• Jobs never reach the printer, or print corrupted
• Control panel blank or frozen with power confirmed present
• Repeated random errors across unrelated subsystems

Before you order

Confirm your printer uses Epson i3200-A1 printheads and a Hoson control system. Rule out the simpler causes first — power board voltage, USB or network cable, and the ribbon cables between mainboard and carriage board. A loose ribbon produces symptoms almost identical to a failed board. Compare your existing board against the product photo before ordering, as Hoson board revisions vary between production runs.

Installation

Power down and unplug the printer completely. Photograph the board in place before disconnecting anything. Handle only by the edges with an anti-static strap. Firmware or parameter settings may need reloading after fitting.
