What it does

The control panel is the printer's on-board interface. It shows machine status and lets you drive the printer directly at the machine — carriage and film feed movement.

Symptoms of a failing panel

  • Screen blank or unlit with power confirmed present
  • Buttons or touch input unresponsive
  • Display flickering, or sections of the screen dead
  • Values reading obviously wrong or frozen
  • Panel works intermittently, often worsening as the machine warms up

Before you order

Compare your existing panel against the product photo. Check the ribbon cable connection first — a loose or partially seated cable produces symptoms almost identical to a failed panel, and reseating it is free.
